I think that unemployed people are the most under-represented group in California. This is ironic because these days we are one of the most prevalent. I will be a spokesman for the unemployed and show everyone that the unemployed can be just as intelligent and articulate as someone with a job. We are not lazy slackers without goals. We are simply people who can't find work. This doesn't make us worse than anyone else, or mean our view is less important. The problem seems to be that money talks and because we don't have any, no one cares about what we have to say. I will to use this campaign to speak out for workers' rights and for the rights of those without work. The people who need the most help are the ones who can't afford to donate large amounts of money to get their voices heard. It may sound corny, but I want to speak for those who don't have a voice.
